New perspectives in glass! Under the direction of Bild-Werk Frauenau, nine international scholarship holders spent the past few months studying products from the traditional glass-producing centres in the Bavarian Forest, the Czech Republic, Styria in Austria, Alsace-Lorraine and Denmark.

They experimented with different techniques. The new works are now finished and will be presented in a travelling exhibition, together with an introduction to the European glass-producing centres and selected historical glass objects.

The project was funded by the European Union Creative Europe Programme.
